Climate change is a global issue requiring concerted efforts for sustainable development. The HKSAR Government committed to strive for carbon neutrality before 2050. The “Hong Kong Climate Action Plan 2050” sets out a series of proactive strategies and measures, and pursues more vigorous interim decarbonisation targets to reduce Hong Kong's carbon emissions by 50% before 2035 as compared to the 2005 level.
